Born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Pedro Carvajal is a renowned visual artist who has captured global attention with his abstract work. Since childhood, his passion for art was evident. Growing up surrounded by comics, landscapes, and various images where he could let his imagination run wild, this was the origin of his love for the abstract. Although he always showed an interest in art, it was in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, while taking classes at Harvard University, that he found art to be a medium that helped balance the intensity of the university's academic program; it was there that he discovered his passion for abstract art. In 2001, he began experimenting with acrylics on canvas, but it wasn’t until March 2021 that he resumed painting professionally, giving birth to his artistic signature: PKO'.

"Eternity" is one of PKO's most emblematic works, where the artist explores the nature of time, infinity, and permanence through abstract and dynamic forms. "Plantation’s Feelings" captures the essence of "The Plantation," the iconic nightclub in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. This abstract work evokes the vibrant atmosphere of the place, where the lights, music, and flavors awakened the senses, creating a unique emotional experience. More than just a physical location, "The Plantation" was a space to enjoy and also to forge relationships and lasting friendships, where people shared transcendent moments. "Plantation’s Feelings" reflects the fusion between the visual, auditory, sensory, and emotional, inviting each person to interpret the artwork from their own perspective. To achieve this professional facet as a visual artist and abstract painter, it was necessary to seek mentors and tutors for his continuous development, such as internationally renowned artists Álvaro Cuevas, Omar Guerra, and others. In this new phase as PKO’, the first artwork to be commercialized was "Colors," created during the COVID pandemic in 2021.

One early morning, at 4 a.m., he woke up inspired by a clear vision: to create his logo. In a single stroke, spontaneously and with perfect precision, the iconic PKO’ logo was born. He carefully prepared the paint with the desired texture, and in one moment, on canvas board, he captured the essence of what represents his artistic signature, which is now officially a registered trademark.

ABSTRACT: Difficult to understand. Synonym of undetermined. It does not correspond to any sensory data or concept.
ECLECTIC: Combining diverse systems. Not opposed to any possibility. Having an indefinite or intermediate position. Avoiding extremes. Aiming to gather and reconcile different values, ideas, or trends.
DISRUPTIVE: Disturbs traditional forms and breaks stereotypes. Causes a sudden interruption of something. Creates a rupture to foster radical renewal.

With over 15 exhibitions in Mexico and 10 private exhibitions abroad, in cities such as Singapore, Los Angeles, California, Boston, MA, USA, and soon in Malaysia, Turkey, Sri Lanka, India, Hong Kong, Chicago, and New York, USA, PKO' has solidified his artistic career. His works are displayed at the prestigious EMOTIONS BY CORSICA Gallery in San José del Cabo, Baja California Sur, Mexico, which has international recognition. His paintings are part of private collections in Dubai, Singapore, and other parts of the world.
